This selection of genuine bone folders offers a variety of different design elements that increase the versatility of the tool while providing additional comfort to archivists and conservators. The shape of the 005-905B was inspired by the sewing and quilting craft where it is used to mark a distinct line in fabric without the use of chalk or pins. The Mini-bone (005-904B) or “spotting bone” was developed by dry cleaners to help remove stains from clothing. Lightweight and at only 4.375″ long, it fits easily in your pocket. The point turner (005-906B) shape was developed for sewing. It turns points in collars, lapels, pockets, etc. and is used to remove basting threads and crease seams. also lightweight and a comfort to hold. The essential conservation tool. Great for crafters too.
