Art Spectrum Colourfix Coated Pastel Papers

Description

Art Spectrum Colourfix Papers and boards are sheets of acid-free hot press watercolour paper screen printed with Art Spectrum Colourfix Primer. They provide an excellent surface for acrylics, oils, inks, oil pastels, gouache, watercolours and dry media such as soft pastels, charcoal and pencils. The natural toothy surface will hold multiple layers of pastel without the need for fixative. Areas can also be overpainted or touched up with Colourfix Primer. The acrylic base of the Primer causes the primed surface to be waterproof so Colourfix Papers and Boards can even be washed!

The unique, fine tooth surface is produced by screen printing Art Spectrum Colourfix Primer onto a heavy-weight Hot Press watercolor paper. Available in 9″ x 12″ (229 mm x 305 mm) or 19.5″ x 27.5″ (495 mm x 686 mm) sheets. 140 lb (300 gsm).
